Oris Watches

Oris is a manufacturer of Swiss luxury wristwatches that was founded in 1904 by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian. The first branch was built in 1906, and by 1911 they had become the largest employer in their area. The company began producing the ‘famous Automatic Movement cal.’ in 1966, and in 1991, the ‘complication movement cal. 58’ was developed, with moon phase display, week day, date and second time zone. They are known for only creating mechanical watches, which they describe as a thing of beauty, designed according to principles that have been around for generations.
